A Gooner’s Deadline Day Survival Guide

Morning to you all. Today I’m skipping the regular club news and getting straight to the meat on the bone, this is deadline day after all. It only comes once a year, so I won’t bore you all with team news until tomorrow! All jokes aside, there’s a lot of activity to talk about.

First things first: how do you go about following the ins and outs of deadline day? The first thing you should do is make sure you have access to Sky Sports News, who cover the entire day right up until the last second. They’ll keep you (almost) completely up to date on transfer news as it happens. Either on TV or online, make sure to tune in. If you don’t want to miss anything  by 30 seconds, Twitter is a must. I can only vouch for Arsenal transfers, so I apologize if you’re reading this as a fan of another team.(you should probably stop now) In my opinion, there are only a handful of people on Twitter you can trust to bring you accurate news. These people are as follows.

With those guys on your timeline, you’re guaranteed to get the news you’re looking for.

Be aware that today is prime time for people on Twitter to broadcast fake rumors in a bid to gain followers. Don’t fall for these phonies, they either got their story from a reliable source, or are manufacturing lies.

if you can’t be glued to a TV, laptop or mobile device, try finding a place to at least listen to the radio, as transfers are all most football radio stations care about today.

Just make sure you don’t miss out.

I’ll also be tweeting the latest news, but I’m merely a messenger.
